Tenders of the Garden

Spend a day planting trees or collecting seeds to reforest urban streamside areas. Work with a local organization like the Potomac Watershed Partnership's Growing Native or Boston's Urban Ecology Institute.

Participants will learn to be good stewards of creation while discovering the numerous benefits trees provide to cities. They will feel that they have made a difference for their community and be able to see the results.
